GIRLS' SOCCER STATE TOURNAMENT: E'town moving on after another injury (10/29)

Having played most of the season without one standout senior starter and captain, the Elizabethtown Lady Panthers might be without another one Wednesday night.

Center defender Abby Patterson, the only Elizabethtown defensive player who started last season, suffered an ankle injury Saturday night in the second half of the 10th-ranked Lady Panthers’ 1-0 win over the fourth-ranked Louisville Assumption Rockets in the KHSAA Girls’ Soccer State Tournament quarterfinals at Lexington Lafayette.
