By Nathaniel Bryan

The Elizabethtown Lady Panthers could be many things tonight.

Cold. Bus lagged. Sick. Beaten up.

But one thing they insist they won’t be is afraid.

Heading into tonight’s showdown at 6 with the top-ranked defending state champion Covington Notre Dame Pandas (24-2-1) in the opening semifinal of the KHSAA Girls’ Soccer State Tournament final four at Lexington Paul Dunbar High School, the 5th Region Tournament champion Lady Panthers (17-5-2) are relatively at ease.
