GIRLS' TRACK AND FIELD: North cruises to girls' title

ELIZABETHTOWN — The North Hardin Lady Trojans aren’t quite ready to give up their throne just yet.

North Hardin rolled to another Lincoln Trail Heartland Athletic Conference Track and Field title on Monday, beating rival Elizabethtown, 167-112 at Elizabethtown High School.

“It wasn’t even close,” said Elizabethtown coach Dickie Jones.

Meade County was third with 106 points, Bardstown was fourth (80.50) and John Hardin was fifth (62).
