Glasgow construction worker in 'fair condition' after being hit by car

A construction worker who was injured Monday when he was hit by a vehicle is listed in “fair condition” in a Louisville hospital.

Steve E. Ward, 52, of Glasgow was struck around noon Monday while standing on a sidewalk near Freeman Lake, according to Elizabethtown Police Department.

He was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital but later airlifted to University Hospital in Louisville, police said.
