A Glendale man was injured Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash.

Kentucky State Police responded at 5:03 p.m. to an injury crash near the 800 block of Richardson Road in Eastview.

Malcolm Ragland, 39, of Glendale, was northbound on Richardson Road when a dog ran in front of his motorcycle. He swerved to avoid the dog, but a second dog ran out and collided with the front of the motorcycle, police said.

Ragland was ejected, landed in the middle of the road and struck his head on the pavement, police said.

Ragland wasn’t wearing a helmet and was transported with significant head injuries by Hardin County EMS to Hardin Memorial Hospital, police said.

Ragland was transferred to University Hospital in Louisville. He was listed in stable condition Monday afternoon.
