Elizabethtown sophomore Lauren Hartlage shot a 74 Tuesday and a 75 Wednesday to finish in a four-way tie for 10th in the 51-player Lexmark Kentucky Women’s Open at Louisville’s Oxmoor Country Club.
KPGA JUNIOR AT LONG RUN. Elizabethtown’s Garrett Ashlock shot a 41 Thursday to win the eight-player boys’ 11-12 nine-hole division by two strokes at Long Run Golf Course in Louisville.
Rineyville’s Evan Newton shot a 100 to win the boys’ open 18-hole division.
Elizabethtown’s Peyton Lothery shot a 96 to win the two-player girls’ 18-hole division.
Hodgenville’s Cameron Dawson shot a 75 to tie for second in the nine-player boys’ 13-14 division. Elizabethtown’s Spencer Jury (79) was fourth and Elizabethtown’s Alex Pearl (94) was seventh.
Elizabethtown’s Greyson Hainer shot a 39 to finish sixth in the boys’ 8-under nine-hole division.
Elizabethtown’s Garrett Valentine shot an 89 to tie for 11th in the 16-player boys’ 15-16 division. Elizabethtown’s Parker Haynes (98) tied for 15th.
KENTUCKYOPEN QUALIFYING AT TRADITIONS. Former Central Hardin standout Patrick Schirmer shot a 79 Wednesday to finish in a six-way tie for 10th in the 23-player Kentucky Open qualifier at Traditions Golf Club in Hebron. He missed qualifying by two strokes.
KPGA JUNIOR AT PICADOME. Elizabethtown’s Garrett Ashlock shot a 43 Wednesday to finish second in the three-player boys’ 11-12 nine-hole division at Lexington’s Gay Brewer Jr. Golf Course at Picadome.
Elizabethtown’s Jordin Beger shot a 121 to finish sixth in the seven-player girls’ 13-15 18-hole division.
KPGA JUNIOR AT CHERRY BLOSSOM. Elizabethtown’s Spencer Jury shot an 88 Tuesday to finish in a tie for third in the seven-player boys’ 13-14 division at Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown.
Elizabethtown’s Parker Haynes shot a 91 to finish 22nd in the 30-player boys’ 15-16 18-hole division.
Elizabethtown’s Greyson Hainer shot a 33 to finish in a tie for fifth in the seven-player boys’ 8-under nine-hole division.
KPGA JUNIOR AT UNIVERSITY CLUB. Dawson shot a 76 Monday to win the 19-player boys’ 13-14 18-hole division at the University Club of Kentucky.
Elizabethtown’s Garrett Ashlock shot a 47 to finish third in the four-player boys’ 11-12 nine-hole division.
Vine Grove’s Jonathan Willis shot an 89 to finish 23rd in the 35-player boys’ 15-16 18-hole division.
KPGA CLASSIC AT KEARNEY HILL. Former Central Hardin star Corey Stith shot a 74 on Monday to finish in a six-way tie for 26th in the 61-player, 18-hole KPGA Classic at Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington.
Hodgenville’s Steve Cox (75) tied for 32nd, while Fort Knox’s Clyde Hill (84) tied for 56th.
