Grand jury doesn’t indict on sex offense charges

RADCLIFF — A Hardin County grand jury issued a no true bill Tuesday regarding a sex offense case reported in The News-Enterprise 15 months ago.

Joseph David Ebel, 44, was charged with two counts of using a minor in a sexual performance in February 2007. The District Court case was waived to a grand jury for review April 16, 2007, according to court records.

Last month, a grand jury decided evidence against Ebel was insufficient to pursue prosecution in Hardin Circuit Court. A no true bill was issued by the grand jury Tuesday morning.
