A Hardin County grand jury returned 46 indictments in October with 30 of those involving drug- or theft-related charges.
Leading the indictments was Theran David Harwood, 26, who faces charges of first-degree assault and second-degree persistent felony offense.
Sgt. Justin Hall with the Hardin County Detention Center said Harwood was working as a trustee in the jail’s kitchen when he was involved in a physical altercation Sept. 2 with another inmate.
