A Grayson County Detention Center deputy jailer was arrested Monday and charged with second-degree promoting contraband.
John T. Young of Millwood is accused of bringing contraband into the jail and selling it to inmates, according to a Kentucky State Police news release. Police say the jail reported the original complaint.
Young was lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center, and according to the jail, he was released on a $2,500 surety bond.
KSP's investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible, according to a police statement.
