'Grease' is the word at Historic State Theater

Poodle skirts and leather jackets are optional, but patrons Friday and Saturday at the Historic State Theater are invited to don such attire for showings of “Grease.”

Set in the ’50s, the 1978 movie stars John Travolta as Danny and Olivia Newton-John as Sandy. The story focuses on the two characters finding themselves together again at Rydell High School after sharing a summer romance thinking they would not see each other after summer’s end.
