Gun used in robbery of Speedway station

ELIZABETHTOWN — Elizabethtown police are looking for information about the man who robbed the Speedway gas station near Towne Mall early Saturday morning at gunpoint.

Elizabethtown Detective Clinton Turner said the white male was wearing a blue University of Kentucky hooded sweatshirt when he pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

The robbery occurred sometime after midnight Saturday, police said.
