As opponent of the Democrats’ health care reform, U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie will be well-placed next year to hammer away at it.
Guthrie, whose district includes Hardin County, has landed a prized seat on the Energy and Commerce Committee. The Republican from Bowling Green has set his sights on becoming a member of its Health subcommittee.
Guthrie’s goals include repealing the health care law and offering a market-based alternative.
