U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie is returning to the committee where he got his start in Washington.
The Kentucky Republican has been reassigned to the Education and the Workforce Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives, giving him two committee postings in the 113th Congress.
Guthrie in a statement said he looks forward to working with the committee and its members to advance education and job training in Kentucky. He served on the committee during his first term in Congress.
