Dr. Ramona Jordan Hall, associate professor of education at Cameron University in Lawton, Okla., has been selected as the recipient of the 2012-13 Harold and Elizabeth Hackler Teaching Excellence Award.
The Hackler Lectureship in Teaching Excellence recognizes outstanding contributions by faculty in the lives of Cameron students and is the highest faculty honor awarded at the university. Recipients of the award are selected based on nominations from faculty and students. Through the endowment, Hall received a stipend and a grant for professional development.
Hall joined the Cameron faculty in 2003 and is a graduate of Elizabethtown High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Louisville, a master of education degree in professional secondary studies from Northwestern State University and an Ed. D. in curriculum and instruction from Tennessee State University. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Hall also has served as director of assessment and assistant dean in the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences.
