Nine Hardin County residents were expected to be arrested beginning Friday as part of a statewide sweep by the Kentucky State Police and other agencies.
“Operation Black Friday” was expected to arrest 479 individuals in what is the largest one-day drug round-up in agency history, according to a KSP news release. All KSP Posts, the KSP Drug Enforcement Special Investigations Branch, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement division, along with assistance from local law enforcement, ATF, DEA and U.S. Marshals Service began arresting individuals before daybreak.
