ELIZABETHTOWN — Hardin County Fiscal Court approved transferring hospital funds to county accounts at a meeting Tuesday after a motion to table the issue died.
Hardin County will take its regular 10 percent dividend from Hardin Memorial Hospital. For the especially profitable 2007 fiscal year, that dividend is about $1.58 million.
Citing a financial downturn at HMH, County Commissioner Bill Brandenburg motioned to table the transfer. The court had until June 30, the end of the fiscal year, to take action.
