Jennifer Hawkins and Eric Deaton, both of Elizabethtown, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rose Simpson of Elizabethtown. She is a 2008 graduate of Central Hardin High School and is attending Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. She is a CMA/CNA at Woodland Terrace Nursing Home and is a hospitalman in the Navy Reserves.
The prospective groom is the son of Mary Blackwell of Hodgenville and Ron Deaton of Louisville. He is a 2007 graduate of LaRue County High School and is also attending Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. He is employed by Mousers Custom Cabinets.
The wedding is at 4 p.m., July 10, 2011, at The Brown Pusey House in Elizabethtown with a reception to follow in the ballroom.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
