Hayes guilty of manslaughter; Lucas reckless homicide

ELIZABETHTOWN – Antwan Hayes has been found guilty of second-degree manslaughter and his girlfriend Danielle Lucas is guilty of reckless homicide in the Aug. 29, 2007 beating death of Lucas' 6-year-old son, Mar'riel.

A jury in Hardin Circuit Court came to their decision just before 5 p.m. Monday after deliberating for less than five hours.

Both Hayes and Lucas were also found guilty of criminal abuse.
