Hardin County Playhouse is hoping area actors answer the call to jury duty when it holds auditions Monday and Tuesday for its production of “Twelve Angry Jurors.”

Auditions begin at 6:30 p.m. each day at Plum Alley Theater in the Historic State Theater. Needed are 13 men and women who are of believable age for jury selection.

Those auditioning will read from scripts with other actors. Prepared material is not needed.

“Twelve Angry Jurors” is an adaptation of “Twelve Angry Men,” a classic play by Reginald Rose. It concerns the deliberations of a jury during the trial of a man accused of killing his father.
