Hardin County Schools is working to avoid extending the school year into June, if the weather cooperates.
The Hardin County Schools board voted Wednesday to amend the school calendar in an effort to make up for two days missed because of snow.
The board voted to OK Feb. 21 and March 7 as make-up days. The district has missed nine days, and Superintendent Nannette Johnston said there was a possibility of more snow days, judging from weather forecasts.
