HCS discusses tax rate

Board will vote on rate later this month

Most members of Hardin County Schools’ board do not want to raise the school tax rate this year, a fact made clear during a discussion of the rate at a special meeting Monday at the district’s central office. The board discussed how to advertise for the upcoming meeting, when they will vote on the rate.
