In her eight years as a certified athletic trainer, Carol George has seen a little bit of everything when it comes to athletes and injuries.
From concussions to knee sprains, shin splints to separated shoulders, George has diagnosed and treated just about every injury in the book. Among the worst, she said, are dislocations, which commonly affect shoulders, fingers and toes.
The key, George explained, is to remain calm and in control when treating an athlete.
