Hardin Memorial Hospital has unveiled a new plan to decrease emergency room overcrowding.
Debbie Myers, director of critical care services for HMH, discussed Tuesday with hospital board members a web-based tool and related plan designed to alleviate the problem.
“I’m sure you all have heard stories,” she said. “You’ve probably been told by folks that they’ve been held in the emergency department for hours and hours.”
