The Home Depot in Elizabethtown will host a civilian career workshop this month to assist transitioning service members and veterans.
The military community offers strong skills but might face challenges in marketing those skills to the civilian workforce, according to a press release from the company.
Collaborating with veteran employees, the company’s human resources team will conduct half-day sessions focusing on job searching, resumes and interviewing. More than 100 workshops will be hosted across the country.
