SLICE OF LIFE By JEFF D'ALESSIO
I still remember the first house I lived in.
The two-story brown house at 9 Bergin Ave. wasn’t much, but it was ours and it was home. It was small and when it rained really hard there was a tendency for water to get in the basement.
It was then that I learned a new vocabulary from my father, a good guy with zero patience.
