KENTUCKY WEATHER. Surprise. The snow is coming down as I write this March 5. Looks like maybe we’ll get a real accumulation out of this one. I think it’s really pretty coming down. I don’t mind the snow, I just don’t want ice with it. I remember a few years ago, mom, Jamilee, Jackie and I went sledding. That was so much fun.
TIME CHANGE. Daylight savings time began at 2 a.m. If you didn’t move your clock up one hour, you are running behind.
BENEFIT. A charity rummage sale and live auction is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 16with the live auction courtesy of Hodges Auction Company and Philip Tabb beginning at 10 a.m. The event will be in the Bluegrass Middle School cafeteria, thanks to Jessica Watts Hundley. If you have items you would like to donate, please message Angela directly at email@example.com. It’s a great time to start your spring cleaning and get rid of items you no longer want or need. There will be volunteers selling food and refreshments the day of the sale as well. All proceeds will benefit Sierra Covinand family for medical and special needs. She is very ill and hasn’t been diagnosed as of yet. She still is undergoing many tests.
GET-WELL WISHES. Get-well wishes to Mary Goodman, Mike Nall, Sierra Covin, Chris Cecil, Ernest Sadler, Jim Jarboe, Kevin Goodman, John Shope, Opal Smallwood, Wilma Jean Cundiff and Cathy Morgan.
Mom has a special prayer request for her friend, Dena.
