KENTUCKY. Rain and snow, a few beautiful warmer days and then back to the cold again. Spring officially is here now but does Mother Nature know this?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Happy birthday wishes to Garreth Woodson and Bobby Woosley on April 1.
BASKETBALL. Well it’s kind of bittersweet. The Kentucky Wildcats didn’t make it to the NCAA tournament but did play in the NIT. The Louisville Cardinals did make it to the NCAA and got the No. 1 seed. This made my mom very happy for her team. No matter what, always remember these are young men playing in the sport they love and better luck to all of them next season. There’s going to be winners and losers. Everybody can’t win.
NEW IDEAS. If you have any past stories to tell about the community or your family to add to my column, please email them to me. Please no phone calls on this one. I also can accept photos to go with your stories if you have them.
