WARMER DAYS. Last weekend was very warm with temperatures reaching in the 90s. Many farmers are cutting hay and getting it ready to bale. Thankfully the heavy rains have subsided.

COMMUNITY YARD SALE. A yard sale will be held June 18 at the Howevalley Vertrees Community Club building. Booth set ups will cost $10. For information, call 734-1539. Proceeds go back into the club to fund special needs of the community. Everyone is welcome.

Bryle Holbert will have eye surgery June 14 in Louisville. This is not the major surgery that is planned in a few months.

SYMPATHY.Heartfelt sympathy to the family of little Addison Jo Blair. God has added another angel to Heaven.

ANNUAL MEETING. The Franklin Crossroads Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at 3 p.m. today, June 5, at the cemetery. Anyone who has loved ones buried there or other interested persons are encouraged to attend. In case of rain, it will be held at Stephensburg Masonic Lodge Hall.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Worship services at Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church Cecilia campus is at 8:30 and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Bible study classesbegin at 9:45 a.m. Evening services are at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
