WONDERFUL BLESSING. Cory and I are expecting our first baby at the end of May. We are so excited. Mom keeps saying she is going to buy her “granddaughter” a pair of pink John Deere boots. Of course, we don’t know what it is yet.
HALLOWEEN. Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween on Wednesday. There are many activities throughout Hardin County to take your children to. Check them out in The News-Enterprise.
TRUNK OT TREAT. The Howevalley Vertrees Community Club will have trunk or treat at the club building Wednesday, Halloween. Bring your little goblins for hot dogs and refreshments for a special night out on Halloween.
CLUB NEWS. The Howevalley Vertrees Community Club will have bunco at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the club building. Bring snacks to share. POC: Freda Griffen, 862-9413. Everyone is welcome.

HOLIDAYBAZAAR. The Country Critters Homemakers will have a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 2 and 3 at Rough Creek Baptist Church on Howevalley Road. Lunch will be served for donations only. There will be a large variety of items for purchase including homemade crafts, baked goods, Avon, Home Interior, Celebrating Home, quilted purses, jewelry, homemade wishing wells and more.
