Kelsey Hughes and Rhett Higgins, both of Hodgenville, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joan Hughes of Louisville and John P. Hughes III of Indiana. A 2008 graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology, she is employed at Aldridge and Aldridge Law Firm.
The prospective groom is the son of Sally and Tom Ark of Elizabethtown and Craig Higgins of Hodgenville. A 2002 graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College with a business degree, he is employed at Higgins Rig Company.
The wedding is at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27, 2012, at My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown.
