Colleagues of Chris Hunsinger say his abilities and, most of all, his pleasant demeanor will be greatly missed in Hardin County government
Hunsinger, longtime planning director for Hardin County, died Thursday at University Hospital in Louisville after a lengthy illness. Hunsinger, 57, was planning director for 32 years and is remembered as an affable man who was well-suited to his job.
Hardin County Judge-Executive Harry Berry said Hunsinger was integral to the operations of the county.
“Obviously it’s a blow to county government,” Berry said.
