The Transporation Cabinet lifted its alert about ongoing delays on Interstate 65 and related congestion. The backup occurred following an 8 a.m. wreck today at mile marker 105 near Lebanon Junction.
Southbound traffic was backed up five miles or more for most of the day, according to Chris Jessie, a local spokesman for the Transportation Cabinet.
All lanes were clear and traffic moving normally as of 3:30 p.m. today, Jessie said.
