At 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, an unidentified man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash, police said.

After the teller complied, the robber left the bank on foot with “an undetermined amount of cash,” according to a news release from KSP Post 4 in Elizabethtown.

Post 4 spokesman Norman Chaffins said the man did not produce or make threat of a weapon during the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, late teens to mid-20s, 5-foot-9, thin build with a brown to red mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a gray, hooded, zip-up jacket with a large Adidas logo on the back, dark blue jeans, a brown hat and brown gloves.

The robbery remains under investigation. State police ask anyone with information about the suspect to call Post 4 at (270) 766-5078.

The Cecilian Bank, established in 1903, has 12 locations, eight of which are in Hardin County.
