Is Parrett mimicking Washington?
A front-page headline on the Jan. 20 edition of The News-Enterprise declared, “Parrett promotes bipartisanship during session.” It is hard to believe that this expression by 10th District State Sen. Dennis Parrett, D-Elizabethtown, is anything other than mimicking of the sentiment being promoted in Washington by the Democratic Party as they face the reality that the proverbial political donkey is no longer the commanding force directing the future of our nation.
