Gratitude for flooding fix
Because a new year has started, it seems only appropriate to publicly thank the people who are responsible for the biggest improvement in my life as well as others in the Park Avenue and College Street area in Elizabethtown in 2010.
The area reportedly has been plagued by backyard flooding for decades and I have dealt with it for more than ten years. The situation has been much like in English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s poem, “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” when it says, “Water, water everywhere.”
