Jared Givan wins state championship from National Field Archery Association

On Feb. 24, Jared Givan won the state championship from the National Field Archery Association in the young adult freestyle division. This was like icing on the cake for 2013 was his fifth consecutive year of competition with a high score of 300 and 59 out of 60x’s. Jared also competed at Corydon, Ind., on Feb. 23 and had a perfect score of 300 and 60 x’s, which is a goal he has been pursuing for the past two years. In two weeks, Jared will compete in the southern sectionals and later the nationals.
