Jason Boyd remembered as a sweet, fun-loving student

Staff and students at John Hardin High School are grieving today after the death of one of their students this weekend.

Jason Wayne Boyd, 18, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday after being hospitalized for an illness at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. Principal Alvin Garrison remembers Boyd as a student who got along well with everyone.

“The John Hardin High School family is very sad today,” Garrison said in a statement. “Jason Boyd’s passing is a shock to all of our students, faculty and staff.”
