Charges included kidnapping, attempted rape of 10-year-old

Jetto Dye, charged with kidnapping, attempted murder and attempted rape of a 10-year-old girl last June in LaRue County, was sentenced Monday to 30 years in prison.
Dye, 29, admitted in LaRue Circuit Court to taking a sleeping child from his residence into a wooded area behind his house on River Road and attempting to rape her. Dye also admitted to attempting to choke her when she resisted the sexual assault.
