JOOI guest speaker raises awareness

At its recent monthly meeting, the Junior Optimist Octagon International Club of Elizabethtown invited Christy Red of Warm Blessings to speak to members of the club. Red raised awareness of poverty in Hardin County and encouraged members of JOOI to volunteer at Warm Blessings. JOOI is a club comprised of middle and high school students dedicated to bettering the community.
