Josephine Glowacki, 74, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at her home.

Josie was a survivor of Hurricane Katrina. She loved the outdoors, fishing, her family, friends and animals.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Meshew; and her sister, Helen Viola Meshew.

She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Clint and Mildred Meshew of Elizabethtown; three nieces, Jacqueline Dann, Patricia Sayers and Sheila Fleming; two nephews, Nicholas Meshew and Kenneth Meshew; her lifelong friend, Daniel Kelly; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was Monday, April 9, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Chaplain Larry Vance officiating. Burial was in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
