Rick Vanhoose of WLKY-TV said July 11 the Republican  Party defied the Supreme Court when it attempted to repeal Obamacare.  

Is that a simple mistake or is that his political views replacing the truth?

The Congress is duty bound to pass legislation that they believe to be in the best interest of the American public.

If that was a mistake, then he should make a retraction and then issue an apology to the Supreme Court and the Republican Party.
