Inspections are conducted on food service establishments by the Hardin County Health Center at least once every six months and retail food markets once annually to determine compliance with the law.

Published rating scores ranging from 0 to 100 are sanitation ratings only. Ratings from 85 to 100 with no critical violations are considered satisfactory.
