John Cook III

John Cook III, 57, of Vine Grove, died Monday, June 16, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a member of Vine Grove Baptist Church and was retired from the Hardin County Detention Center. Mr. Cook was a graduate of North Hardin High School and was a member of Open Arms support group for grandparents raising grandchildren. He was formerly employed by UARCO and worked as a cook in the dining facilities at Fort Knox. He was a Navy veteran who served on the USS Little Rock as a missile technician.
