It was not a pleasant day last week when the principal of the county’s newest high school stood before Hardin District Judge John Simcoe to plead guilty to DUI. It wasn’t pleasant for John Hardin High School Principal Alvin Lee Garrison. Not for his fellow educators, his students or their parents. And not for the community to see one of its finest admit to getting behind the wheel in that condition.
