Alice Doland Armour
Alice Doland Armour, 86, of Bardstown, formerly of Nazareth, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Rucht; and two sons, Brother Luke Armour and Donald Armour.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Abbey of Gethsemani Chapel in Trappist with burial in Gethsemani Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home in Bardstown and continues at 9 a.m. Thursday at Gethsemani Chapel.
Virginia Clark
Virginia Clark, 87, of Leitchfield, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, in Leitchfield.
She was born Aug. 18, 1920, and she was a housewife, a member of the East Grayson County Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and St. Paul Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Justin Clark; her parents, Joseph Ernest and Anna Ruby Tackaberry Darst; three brothers, Mike and Tony Darst and Joseph Ernest Clark Jr.; and a sister, Bea Smallwood.
Survivors include three sisters, Edna Harris of Louisville, Trudy Davis of Florida and Deanna Kipper of Leitchfield.
The funeral Mass is at 11 a.m. CDT Thursday at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Martin E. Hayes officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. CDT Wednesday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson where a prayer service is at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mary Ellen Crumley
Mary Ellen Crumley, 65, of Westminster, Md., died Friday, May 30, 2008, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born Feb. 27, 1943, in Louisville, she was the daughter of Francis Joseph and Ada Lee Murphy. She continues to watch over her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Col. Michael H. Crumley Sr.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Lee Crumley of Waldorf, Md., Michael Hugh Crumley Jr. and his wife, Kristie, of Mt. Airy, Md., Mary Kathleen “Kaysy” Connell and her husband, Craig, of Westminster, Joanna Clare Crumley Green and her husband, Briton, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Meghan Eileen Crumley of Ashburn, Va.; her grandchildren, Michael Hugh Crumley III, Kelly Marie Crumley, Brenna Lynn Connell and Jason Michael Connell; and a brother, Francis Joseph Murphy IV of Sandy Springs, Ga..
The Mass of Christian Burial is at noon Thursday at Main Post Chapel in Fort Knox with Chaplain Capt. John Perez officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Fort Knox.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff.
