Linda Lessmann, 56, of Radcliff, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at her home.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christian Wayne Glover.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen Glover of Radcliff; and two sons, Thomas Glover of Indiana and P.J. Glover of Radcliff.

A memorial service is at 7 p.m. Monday, June 8, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Allene Nadine Livesay, 74, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Bobby B. Merritt, 75, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at his residence.

He was a native of Whitesville, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Fair Farm Baptist Church. He retired from Fort Knox Civil Service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Merritt; his parents, Amos and Effie Bess Merritt; and a brother, Bill Merritt.

He is survived by one son, Kenny (Connie) Merritt of Eastview; two daughters, Betty Merritt of Elizabethtown and Bonnie (Keith) Meredith of Cecilia; one brother, John Merritt of Gulf Port, Miss.; two sisters, Linda Sue Merritt and Opal Patton; and five grandchildren, Bobby and Josh Meredith, and Hannah, Alyssa and Sara Beth Merritt.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Brother Randy Buckles officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and continues after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Paula A. Patton, 45, of Killeen, Texas, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, in Killeen.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Patton; two daughters, Mary Ann Patton and Lisa M. Wilson; and her father, Paul E. Davidson Sr.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with burial at 2 p.m. Thursday at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.   Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Harold Eugene Savage

Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Harold Eugene Savage, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

Mr. Savage was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. He received numerous military awards and citations. His memberships include: American Legion Post No. 113, he was a Kentucky Colonel and an avid Atlanta Braves Fan.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Emma Jean Savage of Vine Grove; one son, Mike Savage and his wife, Deborah, of Hodgenville; four daughters, Patty Pruitt of Vine Grove, Cindy Allen and her husband, Donald, of Gettysburg, Penn., Diana Brown and her husband, Jeff, of Vine Grove and Karen Gray of Vine Grove; 12 grandchildren, Michael Savage, Julie Lake, Adam Savage, Chad Savage, Marsha Jaskowiec, Donnie Mason, Alicia Mason, Erica Cummings, Jason Cummings, Stephanie English, Kristina English and Heather English; 11 great-grandchildren; and his beloved Yorkie, Sport.

Funeral Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, in the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove with the Rev. Art Leach officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Bok Ye ‘Blackjack Maria’ Wilson

Bok Ye “Blackjack Maria” Wilson, 76, of Radcliff, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Radcliff.

She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and also attended St. Brigid Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Wilson.

She is survived by three daughters, Rose Sontag, Judy LaPorte and Donna Tryggvason; one son, Billy Wilson; and nine grandchildren.

The committal service is at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5 at Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon.

Visitation is from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff.
