After about an hour of deliberations, a Hardin County grand jury found a Radcliff man guilty Thursday afternoon of sexually abusing a girl younger than 12.
Jose Vargas, 36, was indicted last November on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse. The jury found him guilty of one of those counts.
The verdict came after the 12-member jury heard a day and a half of testimony. Among those to testify was the victim, who sat in the courtroom gallery between family members as Judge Ken Howard read the verdict.
