Justin Cave was presented with the Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank in scouting, on June 1 at Memorial United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.

He is an active member of Troop 233 where he earned 41 merit badges and held numerous leadership positions. Over his years of scouting, Justin has had the opportunity to participate in many activities, two of which were High Adventures taking him to Double H Ranch in Datil, N.M. in 2006 and to Philmont Ranch in Cimarron, N.M., in 2007.

For his Eagle Project, Justin led a group of scouts and adults to repair and paint a large pavilion in the community park in his hometown of Glendale. This project required many hours of planning, consulting, and hard work to complete.
