Kentucky’s place in the Civil War is focus of symposium

Civil War scholars preparing for a 150th year commemoration will speak at a University of Louisville conference on “Pathways to Freedom: Kentucky and the Civil War.”
The public symposium is sponsored by UofL’s College of Arts and Sciences and the Arts and Culture Partnerships Initiative. The initiative is intended to bring together history, arts and cultural institutions to enhance community life.
