A group of 26 volunteer leaders from Kentucky Farm Bureau, including Larry Thomas of Elizabethtown, is headed to the 93rd annual meeting of the American Farm Bureau Federation, Jan. 8-11 in Honolulu.
More than 400 KFB members will travel to Hawaii to help shape Farm Bureau’s national policy agenda for 2012, take in informational seminars and compete for national recognition in a variety of contests. Sierra Enlow of LaRue County will take part in the Discussion Meet contest after winning at the state level.
Set with a theme of “Navigating the Waves of Change,” the annual meeting is anticipated to draw nearly 7,000 attendees from the 50 state Farm Bureaus.
